The week so far

It's only Tuesday but I am feeling like I have accomplished something. Thanks to the help of awesome friends, I've found some motivation finally. I'm keeping a journal of my eating habits and working out. It's not one of those things where I count every calorie by any means, but I just list what I had for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks etc. John's doing the six small meals a day thing which I have a hard time keeping up with. I know it's the best way to boost your metabolism but I feel like I am eating every time I turn around. So I am sticking to three meals for now and if I think about it, I'll grab a snack here and there. I think the hardest thing for me is not eating after 7pm. I'm such a late night kind of person, that this part just sucks big time. But luckily the downstairs stays so much colder than upstairs, I've just moved my comp up stairs and I try to hang out more in the bedroom to keep some distance between myself and the kitchen. So far I haven't eaten after 7pm but I was having the urge to the other night. I knew I wasn't hungry, but just wanted something anyway. Managed to ignore it by staying upstairs and reading.
Sunday I started back on the Running Mate program. I did it for the 27 minutes it has you do and then an extra 8 minutes just walking. So 35 mins total on the treadmill. Monday I walked 3 miles with Lisa. Didn't have the energy to run last night plus I wanted to put a day in between my runs per the suggestion of the Running Mate creator. So today I am due to run which I plan on doing as soon as I finish this. Did another 3 mile walk this morning with Lisa and her friend. Hopefully by the end of the day, I will be up to 10 miles just since Sunday. Tomorrow I am starting back to the gym! Should be interesting.

Hi-ho-hi-ho, it's off to the garage I go!

Try drinking milk or green tea when you feel hungry. That's what I try to do and so far I've lost 10lbs. I also drink diet drinks now and that really seems to help. Even though I miss my Coca-Cola. Also thanks again for the info on the melatonin. I have noticed a big difference. Good Luck!
