May 11th, 2009

I didn't blog yesterday so I'm making up for it today. Yesterday was a great Mother's Day. John was home this year, so that alone made it even better. They woke me up with breakfast in bed, then we just lounged around for awhile and called the moms back home to wish them a happy mother's day. The boys had some gorgeous tulips delivered for me yesterday. Then John told me to pick out where I wanted to eat for dinner. We picked a japanese place hoping it would be as good as Masato's back in Savannah but no such luck. It was still a nice night out though. At least now we know to cross that place off the list of places to go in the future. We made a pit stop at Baskin Robbins on the way home.

The eating well went out the window yesterday but I'm back on track today. I think John's all finished up with the Bowflex, but now I just need to get in there and get everything situated where I want it. Right now there is no balance in there at all. The treadmill isn't where it needs to be, his weight bench isn't even set up, the bowflex is just in the middle of the garage, empty boxes everywhere, still bags and bags of packing paper needing to be taken to the recycle center.

So here's the food log for the last couple of days. Feel free to pass over the log for Sunday lol.

Sunday

Breakfast-
bacon, eggs, turkey sausage, french toast

Lunch-
mixed green salad with good seasons italian dressing, whole wheat bagel with capers, whipped cream cheese and smoked salmon.

Dinner-
steak and chicken hibachi, vegetable broth soup, ginger salad, shrimp app, grilled vegetables, fried rice. Honestly though, I ate three bites of soup, a few bites of salad...I did eat most of the zucchini, and most of the rice. But left most of the onion and meat. So maybe I didn't kill the diet all in one sitting after all.

Snack-
kids scoop of jamocha almond fudge from BR.


Monday

Breakfast-
ummmmm whoops, didn't have it

Lunch-
strawberry melon slush with flax

Dinner-
roast beef on whole wheat hoagie with grilled onion, bell peppers, flax, swiss cheese and salsa.

Snack-
organic french vanilla yogurt with blackberries, all bran and a blob of cool whip free
